Star Studded
This little star-shaped native wildflower called Sticky Cinquefoil was found in the forest, though it grows in open meadows too. Native Americans used the plant as a poultice for swellings and prepared a tea ingested as a tonic. Identification tip: Look for the green bracts between the yellow petals.
