Lone Tendril

Pink Honeysuckle is one of nature's most lovely groundcovers in the region. Here a single tendril climbs up an Incense Cedar to reach a sunny spot. Lonicera hispidula, the vine, and Calocedrus decurrens, the cedar.

Lovely how the tendril appears part of a weaving as it climbs behind a piece of bark and out to the other side.

I learn from my daily practice of vajrayana, tibetan buddhism, that tendrel is a tibetan/sanskrit word meaning interdependence. I love these pictures of mystical meditation. Thank you
