Bumper Crop
Last year's surprise late frost meant no fruit set on the orchard trees, but this year seems to make up for it. This very old French plum has a craggy shape overall, but it bears well, and the plums, which turn purple, are divine.

I found what must have been a very old plum tree recently out at China Camp that was already bearing ripe fruit. Not the best plums, but edible none the less.
