While the leaves of the Hachiya persimmon turn bright golden in November, those of the Fuyu persimmon turn a luscious crimson red. It's rare that the Fuyu's red leaves are graced with white snow before they fall to the ground. This is one of those years...even if only for a nighttime and early morning.
