The El Nino of 2010 has hit California with days of intense but glorious rain. The soft soil in the meadows is swampy and saturated with water; any potential waterway is flowing; pond levels are rising. California is reaching and exceeding its annual rainfall levels in some regions, including the foothills — great news for the coming year.
